Resilience – A Mental Toughness Program
This course is also available to be facilitated off-site at your work location. To arrange this, please contact OCPTU@dcj.nsw.gov.au
This program provides learners with the framework to not only effectively deal with adversities but to thrive in a constantly changing environment as well as everyday life situations. It is a highly interactive workshop on applying the concepts from Science-Based Positive Psychology Tools that build Resilience and Mental Toughness.
Prior to attending the training learners must complete both a pre-reading and the VIA Survey of Character Strengths which is a simple online self-assessment that will be utilised in the workshop. Further information will be provided upon successful enrolment.
Learners will get the most from this program if they:
- complete the pre-course work prior to attending the program
- are open, engaged and willing to try new things
- are willing to contribute to group discussions and open to the experiential nature of the training
- share information about their own Character Strengths
- are comfortable participating in pair and group activities that allow them to build upon their own personal resilience and mental toughness toolkits
After successfully completing this course learners will receive a statement of training.
