Video Conferencing for CSNSW

The Video Conferencing for Corrective Services NSW course is an initiative to assist officers who are working with the video conferencing facilities in correctional centres. This course will provide Video Conferencing staff with the training and skills required to manage and co-ordinate video conferencing functions within CSNSW.

Staff wishing to work in the Video Conferencing Area (or AVL area) of correctional centres must successfully complete this program to attain the nationally recognised units of competency CSCAS305A Supervise attendance at court, and PSPCRT401C Carry out court orderly functions which are both from the CSC40112 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice. This training must be refreshed every 2 years to maintain currency.

Course duration:

Upon confirmation of enrolment participants have 1 month to complete the eLearning component (approximately 8 hours online)

Target group:

The course is designed for First Class Correctional Officers and /or the Senior Correctional Officers posted to work with video conferencing facilities in correctional centres
