OS&P Certificate IV Information Session/ Managing At Risk Inmates

This course will commence with an overview of the CSC40115 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice for OS&P staff. The session will inform participants of information relating to face to face training requirements, assessment tasks and how to apply for recognition of prior learning.
The Certificate IV information session is then followed by the Managing At Risk Inmates training program which is designed to give the participants the skills and knowledge required to be an effective member of a Risk Intervention Team (RIT), performing the role of the RIT Member.
On successful completion of the training component and related assessment activities, participants may be eligible to seek further assessment for the following units of competency as part completion of CSC40115 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice:
· CSCINT004 Assess offender risks and needs
· CSCOFM004 Protect the safety and welfare of vulnerable offenders
as partial completion in CSC40115 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice.
Following completion of this face to face training participants will be eligible to enrol into the CSC40115 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice for OS&P
