This training is the entry level course for all staff employed to work within Miruma. The program runs for 3 weeks and is designed to equip newly recruited Miruma workers with the skills and knowledge to be effective in their role. The course covers case management, motivational interactions, first aid, suicide awareness, skills for working with offenders with drug and/or alcohol problems, and relevant standard operating procedures.
