Managing Young Adult Offenders

​Inmates who w​e define as young adult offenders represent approximately 30% of the correctional centre population. They have the highest incidence of self-harm, are more likely to re-offend and are responsible for 43% of all offences committed in custody. If you work with young adult offenders in the correctional environment or in the community you need knowledge of the typical profile and special needs of this high-risk group. This online program will provide you with the wide range of skills and attitudes that you need to confidently manage and support positive behavioural change. Completion of this course will result in a Statement of Training.
